This Scholarship application is open to all young men graduating from a Prince William County High Schools in June, 2019. This year the Omicron Zeta Sigma Chapter will award scholarships in amounts of $1,500 or more.
The application and each of its components must be completed, submitted, and received by March 15th 2019. Each candidate must submit, in addition to the signed Personal Data forms, his:
Students’ applications for the 2019 Omicron Zeta Sigma Scholarship will be assessed using the following Standards for Selection: Education aspiration, potential, financial need, commitment to community service, 2.5 minimum cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA), motivation, attitude, dependability, responsibility, and leadership qualities.
Selected students will be notified no later than April 15, 2019.

- “Secondary School Transcript” documenting the cumulative grade point average (GPA) through the 2017 – 2018 (11th grade) school year and the ACT and/or SAT scores.
- Two (2) letters of recommendation from high school personnel and one (1) letter of recommendation from someone who can attest to the applicant’s community service involvement.
- One (1) five-hundred (500) word essay answering the thesis question "How will my education impact my service to my community?"
- One (1) official (photocopy is acceptable) letter of acceptance/admittance from the chosen college or university.
